Addiction Institute at Mount Sinai (AIMS) Summer Internship Application

Thank you for your interest in the AIMS summer internship program! Each summer, the Hurd lab welcomes outstanding high school and undergraduate students to get hands-on experience with what it is like to work in a multidisciplinary scientific lab that studies addiction. Students are matched to mentors and see first-hand how scientific questions are formulated, tested, and analyzed. In addition to working closely with graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, volunteers will attend scientific seminars, present and discuss scientific literature, and propose an experiment.

In addition to working closely with graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, volunteers will also attend scientific seminars, present and discuss scientific literature, and propose an experiment of their own.
